The BBC has stepped up publicity for upcoming series 3 of Return to Paradise with some new images and interviews with cast
The show returns with two episodes next month.
What do we learn from the new images and interviews
The images are in a post reminding us the show returns November 9 and will bring a slice of life down under. It has extensive notes on what to expect and new cast details (much of which we have already covered). As a taster:
Following the shocking departure of pathologist Glenn Strong (Tai Hara), Mack throws herself into her workload alongside the ever-faithful detective Senior Constable, Colin Cartwright (Lloyd Griffith). Mack and Colin find themselves untangling some of Dolphin Cove’s most impossible murders: an artist stabbed in full view of an audience; a wildlife worker killed in a locked cage and a famous film director shot at her own screening. But the biggest and most perplexing mystery of all will be Mack’s own heart.
As to cast, new arrivals to the cove include Mack’s force-of-nature mother Jillian (Kerry Armstrong), alongside charismatic new pathologist Leo (Jacob Collins) whose raffish charm Mack can’t seem to deny. Reprising their roles in the hit series are Catherine McClements (Senior Sergeant Philomena Strong), Celia Ireland (Reggie Rocco) and Aaron L. McGrath (Constable Felix Wilkinson).
The interviews start with Anna Samson explaining why the return to uniform:
The big pain for her is that Glenn has left Dolphin Cove and she feels hugely responsible. For the first time, she’s not trying to run away from Dolphin Cove, she’s sitting in a kind of self-inflicted punishment as a form of penance. She’s back in uniform; she’s sitting it out hoping that Glenn will come back because she doesn’t feel she can move forward without him. She’s in a state of limbo.
We also learn about her love for koalas and getting the giggles.

The long interview with Lloyd Griffith touches on many elements of his character and the series. If nothing else, read what he has to say about everything. Don’t forget to watch next Friday!
