It’s not all ‘cancelled after one season news’ – Apple TV+ have just dropped the trailer for more Shrinking.

The Emmy-award nominated comedy, which stars Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, returns with a life-affirming second run on Wednesday, 16th October, 2024.

Shrinking Season 2

The series was created by Segel, Bill Lawrence (Scrubs. Bad Monkey) and Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), with season 2 boosting its episode run to 12 installments.

Shrinking season 2 sees the two stars joined by Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Plus, Brett Goldstein will appear as a special guest star.

The synopsis for the new season reads:

Season 2 sees Jimmy continuing to reconnect with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell) while mourning the loss of his wife. Meanwhile, Ford’s Dr. Paul Rhoades comes to terms with his Parkinson’s diagnosis after sparking a romance with his neurologist Dr. Julie Baram (Wendie Malick).
