Billie Piper returns to her I Hate Suzie role as the troubled Ms Pickles. 

Sky have released a first image from I Hate Suzie Too.

The series, which follows Billie Piper as former child star turned actress Suzie Pickles garnered rave reviews with its initial series in 2020. Bold and unflinchingly funny, the comedy-drama is now poised to return for a three-part, anti-Christmas special.

Here’s the premise for I Hate Suzie Too:

The series sees the return of child star turned actress Suzie Pickles, (Billie Piper). Suzie has a new agent, new PR and a new job – dancing for likes on ‘Dance Crazee’, a reality TV competition that has the audience hooked. Having lost everyone that matters to her, Suzie returns to her first love – the public.  

In this three-part anti-Christmas, Christmas special, Suzie fights to regain the love of the British public whilst her personal life spirals out of control. Will she win their hearts / votes? And restore her reputation? And at what cost?

The image appears to come from the “Dance Crazee” competition, where Pickles is clearly having the time of her life!

The show, which is written by Lucy Prebble (Succession) and co-created with Piper, promises a number of new faces. Douglas Hodge, Blake Harrison, Layton Williams, Omari Douglas, Anastasia Hille, Angela Sant’Albano, Reza Diako and Yaz Zadeh all join the show.

Additionally, Leila Fazard, Daniel Ings, Phil Daniels, Lorraine Ashbourne and Elle Piper all reprise their roles.

I Hate Suzie Too comes from Bad Wolf, in association with Sky Studios. The show’s executive producers are Prebble and Piper, with Andrea Dewsbery, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter, and Liz Lewin for Sky Studios. The director is Dawn Shadforth, the producer Alex Streeter.
