Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 2 – Jamie Lee Curtis casting rumour surfaces

Posted Filed under

Apparently JLC was seen on location during filming for The Mandalorian’s second season…

After recent confirmations that Michael Biehn and Rosario Dawson have both officially joined the cast of The Mandalorian season 2, Making Star Wars – the site that broke the Biehn story – has reportedly heard that Jamie Lee Curtis has also been spotted around the area where filming on the live-action TV series took place. A rep for the Halloween franchise’s most iconic scream queen has chosen not to reveal whether the actress indeed has a role in the second season, so this will remain firmly in the rumour column at the moment.

Though only just beginning its release schedule here in the UK, season 1 of The Mandalorian finished some time ago in the US, and Disney+ wasted no time filming the second season, announcing that it would arrive in October on the streaming service. Unfortunately, it’s not known at this stage whether the UK will receive season 2 at the same time, but we will keep an eye on Disney+’s release plans.

In season 2, Pedro Pascal’s bounty hunter will continue in his mission to protect his foster child, who seems to be of the same species as Yoda. Further plot details are currently being kept under wraps.

More soon.
