The Musketeers will move to a Saturday night slot when it returns to BBC One later this month.
The adventure drama is back for a final ten episodes, with Rupert Everett joining the cast as this season’s main villain and Doctor Who star Paul McGann amongst the new guest stars.

Season 3 begins at 9.30pm on Saturday 28 May on BBC One.

Season 3’s opener sees D’Artagnan, Porthos and Athos go into battle with the Spanish, while Aramis battles his conscience at the nearby monastery.
Meanwhile in Paris, a sinister new battle awaits in the form of the corrupt Governor, Philippe Feron, bastard brother of Louis XIII.
