With the now show just weeks away, Prime Video have dropped a full trailer for The Consultant.
Updated 07/02/23: The new trailer, running to two minutes, sees Christoph Waltz’s ominous character arrive Regus Patoff at CompWare… and the mayhem that ensues with his unusual working methods. Looking into his past, his new underlings find very little out about him – and what they do is rather disturbing!
“He’s firing Ian… says he doesn’t like the way he smells.”
As we’ve said before, the show looks like a lot of fun. Clearly, there’s a little post-pandemic satire thrown in too with the threat to those working remotely!
The streamer has also released some poster art to promote the show.
All eight episodes of The Consultant land at Prime Video on Friday, February 24th 2023.

The Consultant – teaser for Prime’s new Christoph Waltz series
Ahead of its upcoming launch, Prime Video have dropped a first look teaser for The Consultant.
The series, which begins on February 24th, is based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name. It sees Christoph Waltz’s character brought in to shake up a gaming company, with his character described as the “boss from hell”.
Here’s the synopsis for The Consultant
When a new consultant, Regus Patoff (Christoph Waltz), is hired to improve the business at the App-based gaming company CompWare, employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question … including their lives.
Joining Waltz, the show stars Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady (The White Lotus) and Aimee Carrero (The Offer).
With plenty of dark comedy vibes and some killer workplace satire, The Consultant looks like lots of fun. The show comes from creator, showrunner, and executive producer Tony Basgallop (Servant). Matt Shakman (WandaVision) co-produces and has directed the first episode. Executive producers are Christoph Waltz, Steve Stark, and Andrew Mittman, with producer Kai Dolbashian.
The Consultant comes from MGM Television and Amazon Studios.
Prime Video are releasing all eight episodes of the show on February 24th, 2023.
