ITV Studios’ London TV Screenings slate has been announced and includes Australian show The Killings at Parrish Station

To give a flavour of the overall announcement, ITV Studios full London TV Screenings slate, features six groundbreaking formats, 12 star-studded dramas (on top of 21 returners), and 34 compelling non-scripted titles. While there’s a lot to digest, we note one title in particular — The Killings at Parrish Station. Here’s why…

What is The Killings at Parrish Station

ITV Studios gives a compelling introduction to the series:

…a cosmic mystery intertwines with a crime investigation across two time periods, as a gruesome massacre at a remote research station amidst the searing heat and red rocks of the Gibson’s desert plunges a detective into an inexplicable, decades-long riddle. It’s 1987, and Detective Georgia Cooke is called in to investigate the massacre of four scientists who have been brutally murdered in inexplicable ways, with a lone survivor the obvious suspect. But as Georgia digs deeper, unravelling a complex case entangled in mania and conspiracy amidst the soundwaves picked up by the research station, her obsessive quest for the truth spirals into a reckoning that will put her family, career, and sanity on the line. 

Thirty-seven years later, a chilling new spate of murders, eerily similar to the original 1987 case, will pull Georgia back into the nightmare as she confronts the terrifying possibility that the horrors at Parrish Station were never fully buried and the past may be destined to repeat itself.

This Australian show is a new Stan Original and stars Mia Wasikowska(1987’s Georgia Cooke), Heather Mitchell (current Georgia Cooke), Robert Taylor, and Xavier Samuel. Alongside Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) and Heather Mitchell (The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Love Me, Fake), the cast includes Xavier Samuel (Blonde, Elvis), Robert Taylor (Longmire, Scrublands), Alan Dale (The Assassin, Star Trek: Nemesis, Dynasty), Emma Lung (Wolf Like Me, Strife), Doris Younane (Five Bedrooms, Last King of the Cross), Kat Hoyos (Amazing Grace, Here Come The Habibs!), Nic English (Ten Pound Poms), Alex Malone (The Royal Hotel), Geoff Morrell (Thou Shalt Not Steal, Wolf Like Me), Rob Carlton (Black Snow, Chandon Pictures), Alex Lee (Optics, The Fall Guy), Cameron James (The Role of a Lifetime) and newcomer Grace Owens.

The show is created and written by Ben Jenkins (The Chaser, The Checkout), with writer and story producer Tim Pye (Stan Original Bali 2002), and writers Yolanda Ramke (Cargo), Catherine Smyth-McMullen (The Sandman, The Other Lamb), and directed by Daniel Nettheim (The Tourist and The Assassin).
