It’s official! Netflix has asked The Movies That Made us to look back at some more classic films…
November brought us an early Christmas present when The Movies That Made Us, a retrospective docuseries from the creators of The Toys That Made Us, hit Netflix, and the streaming service has now officially ordered a second season from the “…That Made Us” crew! We really enjoyed the first run, so this is very welcome news.
The Movies That Made Us features interviews with iconic films’ actors and crew, and makes for a delightfully entertaining binge. The first season covered Home Alone, Die Hard, Ghostbusters and Dirty Dancing. There’s been no confirmation on the films set to be under the microscope in season 2, but this tease definitely makes it seem as though RoboCop could be in the running…
“Thank you for your cooperation.”

The “…That Made Us” team is also working on a series about Disney parks for the all-powerful Mouse House’s new streaming service, Disney+, which will launch in the UK later this month.
