The latest project from controversial television giant Ryan Murphy has released an official tailer, here’s the latest on The Shards:

The newest series promises to deliver the tension, absurdity and drama that’s come to be expected of a Ryan Murphy production. The latest release about the production announces a few more details about the show ahead of its August release.

What’s The Shards about?

The series will serve as a screen adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis (Psycho) novel of the same title, which was released in 2021. Set against the backdrop of Los Angeles in the 1980s. The characters carrying the story will be a band of privileged students in the most highly regarded prep school in the city. The source material is a fictional memoir, with the protagonist being an aspiring writer who has a girlfriend out in the public and male lovers behind closed doors. A brand new student breezes into town and disrupts the balance of the school, as well as living a double life as the area’s current notorious serial killer.

Who’s in it?

The case includes Homer Gere (Euphoria), Igby Rigney (Midnight Mass), Hayes Warner (ZIP), Kaia Gerber (Bottoms) and Graham Campbell (The Library).

When’s it out?
