ITV has released a brand new trailer for upcoming fantasy drama Jekyll and Hyde.
Set in 1930s London, the ten-part drama stars Tom Bateman (Da Vinci’s Demons) as “young, attractive, troubled hero” Robert Jekyll, the grandson of the original doctor.
The one-minute launch trailer announces that Jekyll and Hyde will begin on ITV in October and features some of the “spooky creatures, ghouls, zombies, werewolves and vampires” that viewers can expect to see in the show.

Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, the show is created by The Fast Show writer Charlie Higson.
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell star Enzo Cilenti told CultBox recently that Jekyll and Hyde will be “very chic, very funny” and has “loads of action”.
The official synopsis reads: “At the heart of the drama is Robert Jekyll’s quest to discover his real identity, his true family history and the nature of his ‘curse’. Jekyll transforms into Hyde in moments of extreme anger, stress and when his or the lives of others are threatened.”
The cast includes Richard E Grant (Downton Abbey), Natalie Gumede (Doctor Who), Stephanie Hyam (Murdered By My Boyfriend), Donald Sumpter (Game Of Thrones), Amit Shah (The Smoke), Phil McKee (Ripper Street), Christian McKay (Rush), Ruby Bentall (The Paradise), Enzo Cilenti (Game of Thrones), Lolita Chakrabarti (Death in Paradise), Michael Karim (Inspector Lewis) and Ace Bhatti (Silk).
