Starring the former Doctor Who star alongside Janet Montgomery (Merlin), BBC Four’s new two-part drama is adapted from Alan Furst’s novels by TV writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais (The Likely Lads).

Set in Poland, Paris, London and Berlin in the years leading up to the Second World War, The Spies of Warsaw follows French and German intelligence operatives locked in a life-and-death struggle on the espionage battlefield.

The preview also includes clips from the Doctor Who Christmas special, Series 2 of The Hour and BBC One’s Ripper Street.
