Based on Stephen King’s novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome, the show begins at 10pm on Monday 19 August on Channel 5.

The official synopsis reads: “The residents of Chester’s Mill wake up one morning to find themselves trapped inside a massive transparent dome which acts as a force field, with no way out and no way in. Cut off from the rest of the world, they struggle to survive as resources rapidly dwindle and panic escalates.”
