The EXPOs will return in both 2025 and 2026.

With filming complete on series 3 of itv’s Trigger Point, the broadcaster has confirmed that the show is coming back for a fourth run too. Series 4 will film across the summer months this year.

The show, led by Vicky McClure (Line of Duty) as Lana Washington, follows the work of a team of EXPOs – bomb disposal officers who keep the capital safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.

Vicky McClure said:

“We’re all buzzing ITV have such faith in this series to commission a fourth before the third has even aired. I love working with the team, we have a great time making the show and I cannot wait to continue Lana’s journey on Trigger Point.”

Trigger Point series 4 comes writer Chris Brandon (Bloodlands) and directors Jennie Darnell (Line of Duty) and Nirpal Bhogal (Grace). The show is made by Jed Mercurio’s HTM Television, and he serves as an executive producer.

Trigger Point series 3 will appear in itv’s autumn schedule this year, while series 4 will air in 2026.

In the UK, you can stream the first two seasons of Trigger Point on ITVX. In the US, it’s on Peacock and BritBox.
