The David Nicholls novel is hailed as a bestseller, the story has now been confirmed to be in development to become a series. The latest release of information about this project has revealed some recognisable names attached.

What’s You Are Here about?

The story is set along a trail in the Lake District, spanning all the way to Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire. Our two lead characters are paired up by a mutual friend, and they both find themselves embarking on the epic and scenic route together. As the journey unfolds and the pair spend more time with one another, the potential for a relationship blooms and they both realise things about themselves they previously never knew.

Who’s in it?

Leading the romantic story will be Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and Claire Foy (All of Us Strangers). No other roles have seemed to be filled as of yet.

Who’s behind it?

Nicholls has penned the adaptation, with Lenny Abrahamson (Normal People) attached as director.
