De Niro stars as former U.S. President George Mullen who is called upon to track down the perpetrators of a devastating cyber attack.
These days, it seems no one is immune to the lure of the streamers. Netflix turned Keira Knightly into a festive spy, and coaxed Cameron Diaz from her self-imposed exile for Back in Action.
Now, they’ve dropped a trailer for the thriller series Zero Hour, starring Robert De Niro.
Of course, the great man has enjoyed a varied career – from weighty fare such as Raging Bull and Taxi Driver, to comedic roles in Meet the Parents and Analyse This.
And who can forget his turn as the villain in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
In Zero Day, he takes on the role of a former U.S. President in a timely thriller about a cyber attack. We’re guessing this one won’t be the result of a failed anti-virus patch!
