Season 1 concluded on the channel last night. A consolidated weekly figure of over 4 million watched the show on Channel 4 (including figures from the repeat) during its run.

Season 2 will premiere in the US on Showtime on 30th September.

Sky Arts 1 will be airing foreign language drama Prisoners of War (Hatufim), on which Homeland is based, on Thursdays at 9.30pm from 10th May. Israel’s number one drama in 2010, the ten-part series focuses on the story of three IDF soldiers who were captured during active service behind enemy lines in Lebanon.

Update: Channel 4 has confirmed that Season 2 will begin airing on the channel this autumn.
