Episode 1

It has been ten days since Paul Spector told DSI Stella Gibson that she would never catch him.

As Gibson tries in vain to help Spector’s surviving victim remember the identity of her attacker, Spector is forced to deal with the loose ends that he left behind in Belfast.

His return to the city to discover that someone from his past has been helping police with their enquiries, forcing Spector to change his plans – with terrifying consequences.

 

Episode 2

As Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) drives Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) away from her home in the middle of the night, her worst fears are realised when Spector tells her that he knows she went to the police.

With Rose missing, the pressure being brought to bear on the police investigation increases.

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is forced to face the fact that her words have tipped Spector off about Rose, making her even more desperate to save Rose and catch the killer.

 

Episode 3

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) orders extensive surveillance on Spector’s (Jamie Dornan’s) family, believing they will lead them to Paul, whose whereabouts remains unknown.

As the search for Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) becomes ever more desperate with each passing hour, a near miss between Spector and Gibson makes their cat and mouse hunt personal. Spector, directing his fury at Gibson, trespasses into her private world, delighting in taunting and provoking her.

 

Episode 4

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) reports to Burns (John Lynch) that their confrontation in her hotel room may have been witnessed by Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan).

Gibson is further shocked to discover that Spector has been paying visits to one of his surviving victims in hospital. Seizing on the opportunity, Gibson finally locates Spector and puts him under surveillance.

When a body matching the missing Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) is discovered, Gibson’s success is short lived as she is forced to face her worst fears.

 

Episode 5

With Spector (Jamie Dornan) under surveillance, Gibson (Gillian Anderson) wants to make sure that a solid arrest strategy is put in place so that no evidence is lost and they have the best chance at saving Rose Stagg (Valene Kane).

However, Spector is unpredictable, and Gibson is forced to act quickly as her carefully made plans fall apart in front of her eyes. Relying on the strength of the team around her, Gibson’s investigation makes her a witness to the shocking brutality of Spector’s crimes.

 

Episode 6

Gibson’s (Gillian Anderson) investigation leads her to Spector’s (Jamie Dornan) lair.

Gibson’s investigation leads her to Spector’s lair, but there is no sign of Rose Stagg (Valene Kane). Increasingly desperate to find Rose, Gibson instructs her team to step up the interviews with Katie (Aisling Franciosi), Sally Ann (Bronagh Waugh) and Paul Spector.

However, it is only when Spector makes a final play to remain in control that Gibson is offered any sort of answers. As Gibson and Spector finally come face-to-face, both have a chance to look in the eyes of their nemesis, and both have their own battles to win.
