Starring Andrew Lincoln (Teachers) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), post-apocalyptic horror drama The Walking Dead returns to our screens this month for a second season.
Having drawn a blank at the CDC facility in Atlanta, Sheriff Rick Grimes and the other survivors of the zombie apocalypse embark on a new journey southwards, towards Fort Benning. However, danger lurks amid the abandoned cars on the freeway – and in the tense relationships within the group.
The season premiere, ‘What Lies Ahead’, airs at 10pm on Friday 21st October on FX. To whet your appetite, here are ten teasing lines of dialogue from the episode…
» ‘Honey, I can’t imagine what you’re going through, and I would do anything to stop it, but you have to stop blaming Rick.’
» ‘I see two people who don’t belong – we’re the odd men out.’
» ‘I want to hold off the “needs of the many against the needs of the few” argument for as long as I can.’
» ‘Shane’s mad at me. Did I do something wrong?’
» ‘I don’t want to stay here a minute longer than we have to.’
» ‘We can’t have people popping off rounds every time a tree rustles.’
» ‘There’s two walkers after my baby!’
» ‘I don’t believe it. You’re giving me the cold shoulder.’
» ‘Check it out, it’s an arsenal.’
» ‘You want a lesson in tracking or do you want to find that girl and get our asses off the interstate?’
