The 1996 television movie will be screened at the earlier than usual time of 10am on Saturday 5 October at BFI Southbank.
Starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor, the feature-length US TV pilot was filmed in Vancouver and originally aired in the UK in May 1996.
Update [24 August 2013]: The BFI has confirmed that Paul McGann will be attending as one of the Q&A guests.
Update [9 September 2013]: Other guests have been confirmed as Daphne Ashbrook, who played one-off companion Dr Grace Holloway, and director Geoffrey Sax. A panel about the years when Doctor Who was off the air will feature Gary Russell, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Nick Briggs and Andrew Cartmel.
