Rachel Talalay is apparently on the shortlist to direct the upcoming Captain Marvel film. Oscar-winner Brie Larson (The Room) was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 to play Carol Danvers in the first female-led movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
