Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch has taken part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with an epic video.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge helps raise awareness and donations for ALS charities. ALS is also referred to as motor neurone disease.

Cumberbatch is an ambassador for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
