With only one new episode of Doctor Who airing in 2016, fans had to get creative.

Josh Snares created a unique tribute to the title sequence of K-9 and Company, the 1981 pilot for a Doctor Who spin-off featuring Elisabeth Sladen as investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith, alongside her robotic dog K-9.

A full series was never commissioned, but the pair did return in 2006’s Doctor Who episode ‘School Reunion’.

12 new Doctor Who episodes have been filming in Cardiff since June 2016 and will begin airing on BBC One this April.
