Of course, before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a twinkle in Walt Disney’s cryogenically-frozen eye, the Avengers had already made the collective jump from comic page to small screen, via the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon series.

The only blemish in this excellent mashup with the Friends theme music is a criminal lack of visual handclaps. Oh well… perhaps the animated Avengers aren’t much into applauding…
