A Master(s) plan

When we last saw Missy cornered by Daleks in ‘The Witch’s Familiar’, she revealed that she’d “just had a very clever idea…”

What if that plan involved the first ever multi-Master story?

We’d be very surprised if Michelle Gomez wasn’t back as Missy in Season 10, especially now that the Doctor has found Gallifrey, but imagine if Missy decided she wanted to rule Gallifrey… and brought in some back up.

Picture it: Michelle Gomez, John Simm, Derek Jacobi… hell, even Eric Roberts, like some kind of utterly bonkers Avengers team-up.

 

The Minister of War

Doctor Who Before the Flood Peter Capaldi Twelfth

This throwaway line in ‘Before The Flood’ got people thinking about where the show might be headed, with writer Toby Whithouse alluding to a character yet unseen.

The Minister of War sounded like a pretty significant part of the Doctor’s life, but then again it could be a brief plot device leading to something larger. Is the Minister of War from Earth… Gallifrey… or somewhere else entirely?
