The ‘Doctor Who’ guide to choosing the best school

“It’s very well-behaved, this place. I thought there would be happy slapping hoodies. Happy slapping hoodies with ASBOs. Happy slapping hoodies with ASBOs and ringtones. Yeah? Yeah? Oh yeah! Don’t tell me I don’t fit in.”

Rosanna Calvierri’s School

Doctor Who Vampires of Venice Guido

Educational opportunities were thin on the ground in 16th century Venice, so the good people of Venice were understandably keen to have their daughters accepted into Rosanna Calverri’s prestigious finishing school.

Kitted out in bridal gowns, veils and parasols, the students turned heads throughout Venice.

Unfortunately the headmistress was an alien and her school policy of turning her pupils into vampires, ready to be wives to an army of Saturnynian fish creatures, was unlikely to help them score well at the next OFSTED inspection.

The Rattigan Academy

Doctor Who Rattigan Academy

Hyper-brat genius Luke Rattigan set up his own school for the gifted in ‘The Sontaran Stratagem’ and ‘The Poison Sky’ after the worldwide success of his ATMOS emission reduction device, which also handily came with killer Sat Nav as standard.

Naively believing the promises of the Sontarans, he had plans to relocate to another world with his school full of hoody-wearing genius students. Sadly, they all realised he was bonkers after he discovered he had been duped by his alien allies. In a last minute crisis of conscience, he swapped places with the Doctor and met his death on a Sontaran battleship.

Suffice to say, the Rattigan Academy is not currently accepting new students.
