There are several big questions posed in The Force Awakens that will need to be answered in 2017’s eighth Star Wars adventure.
Here are a few of them…
Is Han Solo really dead?
Suffering a ghastly lightsaber wound and tumbling thousands of feet into the ether would almost certainly mean death in any other movie franchise – but this is Star Wars.
Luke Skywalker survived something not dissimilar, and while Han was more seriously wounded and doesn’t have the force to assist him, he’s a born survivor.
Until the body is recovered, a funeral is held or JJ Abrams comes out and issues a signed confirmation that he’s definitely killed off everyone’s favourite flyboy, the idea of him being dead can be taken with a pinch of salt.
But even if he is, few would bet against seeing Harrison Ford make a future cameo as a force ghost like Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin at the end of Return of the Jedi.
