With the series beginning in just over a week, the BBC have landed a trailer for Inside No. 9…
It’s a brief thirty-second promo, but promises the usual mix of odd characters, famous faces and jump scares.
The BBC press release says…
From the elegance of an Edwardian country house to the grim reality of the last train home, from nosy neighbours to grave robbers, from illicit visits to the toilet to a ticking clock in a sinister escape room, this ninth collection is sure to send the series off with a bang.
A deadly mixture of classical music, dubious morals and murders at midnight, Shearsmith and Pemberton present six more films to delight and disturb their many fans around the world as they open the door marked No.9 for the final time.
The six-part final series comes to BBC Two and the iPlayer on Wednesday 8th of May at 10pm.

Inside No. 9 – launch date for the final series
It’s the final run for Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s superlative anthology series. What horrors lurk Inside No. 9 this time?
Since 2014, Inside No. 9 has treated us to the weird and wonderful imaginations of Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.
With a new story, setting and characters each week, the show has taken us from sardines in a wardrobe to a lakeside cabin, all with the help of a seemingly endless roster of guest stars.
Now, the show approaches its final series, with six new episodes, the first of which premieres on May 8th, 2024.
Titled ‘Boo to A Goose’, it will see Siobhan Finneran, Mark Bonnar, Susan Wokoma, Joel Fry, Philippa Dunne, Charlie Cooper and Matthew Kelly join regulars Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.
We also know that Dorothy Atkinson, Katherine Kelly, Eddie Marsan, Vinette Robinson, Adrian Scarborough and Hayley Squires will appear in later episodes.
The final series of Inside No.9 lands on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 8th of May at 10pm.
