Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt both reprise their roles in the spin-off from The Terminal List

In 2022, the Chris Pratt led series The Terminal List scored a big hit for Prime Video. We rarely learn numbers, but the streamer was moved to commission both a second season and a spin-off.

First to land is the spin-off, at prequel telling the origin story of “Ben Edwards,” played by Taylor Kitsch.

Co-created by the author of The Terminal List, Jack Carr, and creator-showrunner David DiGilio, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf follows his journey from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations.

Prime Video describes the show as “…an espionage thriller that explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.”

Joining Kitsch and Pratt for the series are Tom Hopper, Robert Wisdom,  Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati and Jared Shaw.

The show’s star and Executive Producer Taylor Kitsch says:

“Digging into Ben’s origin with Dark Wolf was a blast. This season goes even deeper—there’s more grit, more heart, and a lot more on the line. It’s raw, it’s honest, and it really lets you see the heart of who he is. I have so much respect for the military and SEAL community and loved showing their brotherhood, the things you fight to hold onto, and just letting it all play out. I think fans are going to have a great time with it.”

The series producers are Amazon MGM Studios and MRC/Civic Center Media.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf streaming on Prime Video from August 27th 2025. It premieres with three episodes, followed by weekly instalments building up to the season finale on Wednesday, September 24th.
