Netflix has released a first look at the second season of Ricky Gervais’ comedy series…

Ricky Gervais’ Tambury-based journo Tony will be back on Netflix soon – six more episodes of After Life are just a few weeks away, and the streaming giant has now released a first trailer for them.

In season 2 of the successful comedian’s latest series, Tony will still be picking up the pieces after losing his wife, and now it looks like his livelihood might be on the line, too.

Here’s a synopsis from Netflix…

“Still struggling with immense grief after the death of his wife, Tony (Gervais) is trying to turn over a new leaf. Will he succeed in helping the people around him, or will he go back to being the same old Tony?”

David Bradley (Game of Thrones), Ashley Jensen (Extras), Penelope Wilton (Doctor Who), Joe Wilkinson (Him and Her), Tony Way (Edge of Tomorrow), David Earl (Derek) and Tom Basden (Plebs) fill out the rest of the cast.

After Life season 2 will be streaming on Netflix from 24th April.
