Season one of Netflix’s latest expensive sci-fi show, Altered Carbon, is now available on the streaming service. The show is based on the novel of the same name from Richard Morgan, and Morgan also penned sequel novels as well. Now it seems that the ball is in Netflix’s court to decide just what it wants to do next.
Morgan is involved in the show, and has revealed in a chat with The Guardian that the plan is for the show to run for five seasons, assuming everybody is happy. Netflix presumably is examining its streaming data to work out whether it should invest in more, but it sounds like the core cast and crew are all keen to return.
When we get news or otherwise of a recommission, we’ll let you know.
