Safe House is returning to ITV next year – but not with Christopher Eccleston…
ITV has confirmed that it’s ordered a third series of its successful crime drama Safe House, but it’s bringing with it some casting changes.
The most notable is that Christopher Eccleston, who headlined the show previously, won’t be back for the second. In his place is former True Blood star Stephen Moyer, who will take on a starring role.
Further new additions to the cast? Zoe Tapper, Devla Kirwan and Jason Watkins are all turning up in roles.
Series three of Safe House commences filming this month, for transmission on ITV in 2018.
