CBBC has released the first look at the new season of Wolfblood. 

Season 4 aired on CBBC last year, with the story moving outside Stoneybridge and several key cast members not returning.

Writer Debbie Moon confirmed last summer that the drama would be returning for a fifth season.

Wolfblood creator Debbie Moon commented last year: “We look forward to bringing you more adventures in the brave new world where the existence of Wolfbloods is public knowledge, and both humans and Wolfbloods have a lot of adjusting to do…”

Season 4 introduced a number of new characters, including corporate boss Imara (Michelle Gayle), her son TJ (Louis Payne), Matei (Jack Brett Anderson), his sister Emilia (Sydney Wade), and martial arts enthusiast Selina (Rukku Nahar).

Wolfblood is expected to return to CBBC in early 2017.
