Constellation – First look at new Apple TV+ series from Peter Harness
Apple TV+ have revealed the first images from their upcoming thriller Constellation.
The show comes from writer Peter Harness (Doctor Who, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell) – here’s what we know…
Constellation stars Rapace as Jo — an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space — only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.
Joining Rapace and Banks for Constellation are James D’Arcy (Agent Carter), Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa. Additionally, the show introduces Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice.
The directors are Michelle MacLaren (Shining Girls), Oliver Hirschbiegel and Joseph Cedar.
Shot principally in Germany, the show is executive produced by David Tanner, Tracey Scoffield, Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal, Carole Scotta and Justin Thomson. The producers are Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV.
Michelle McLaren also executive produces with Rebecca Hobbs and co-executive producer Jahan Lopes for MacLaren Entertainment. Peter Harness executive produces through Haunted Barn Ltd.
Constellation begins on Apple TV+ with three episodes on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024. Further episodes drop weekly until March 27th.
