Earlier this year came a welcome but surprising announcement of a special Doctor Who boxset. Available from one site in Germany, the Doctor Who: Seventh Doctor Special Collector’s Edition is a 17-disc deluxe boxset. And it’s available now!

For your 150 euros (yep, that’s the asking price), you get every one of Sylvester McCoy’s adventures through to Survival, and over 24 hours of bonus material on top of that. Furthermore, the set comes with a 52 page book in both German and English, that features new contributions from-then Doctor Who script editor Andrew Cartmel.

Only 1000 of these amazing-looking sets are being produced, and the deadline for Christmas delivery has already gone. But this looks like a fantastic Doctor Who collectable, and a worthy testament to Sylvester McCoy’s underrated run on the show.
