Doctor Who composer Murray Gold was asked a fan question on The Whoniverse Show regarding future soundtrack releases, specifically for the 60th anniversary specials, Season One and Season Two.

“Yes. And I’m a man of my word, as I said,” Gold replied playfully, referring to the belated fulfilment of his promise to release the Doctor Who Series 10 soundtrack. We are on that. I think we might be — that will be 2026, I think — hopefully all three.”

This is exciting news! Gold composed brilliant music not only for the three Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle but also for Doctor Who Seasons One and Two and their preceding Christmas specials.
