Along with a special recorded video message from Ncuti Gatwa at the Gallifrey One convention in Los Angeles California on 17 February 2024, Disney sponsored a new poster for the 2024 Doctor Who series coming this May.
Dressed in the costume the Doctor wore at the end of The Church on Ruby Road and will continue to wear for the first 2024 series episode, Gatwa said in the pre-recorded message that he loves meeting fans and he’s sorry he couldn’t join them at the convention. He also said that he’s currently shooting the Doctor Who and that he can’t wait for fans to see the new series. According to fans who were there, Gatwa also said in the video that the mystery of companion Ruby Sunday’s origins would be solved in the 2024 series. The video was recorded on the TARDIS interior set Monday, 12 February, 2023. Some Disney representatives filmed the fan reaction to the video at the convention. One fan reported that Gatwa revealed that he filmed in a quarry the day before.

Disney also gave out the new 2024 series posters to fans attending the convention.

Disney+ will stream the new Doctor Who series everywhere but in the UK and Ireland where it will be available on BBC One and iPlayer.
A new 8-episode Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will debut in May 2024.
