Fans who have ever wondered about Belinda’s horoscope or what would happen if Conrad met Ruby’s family can take a look at some deleted scenes from the 2024 Doctor Who Christmas special Joy to the World and several episodes from the latest series.

In a cut scene from Joy to the World, where the Doctor, in the role of a hotel handyman, loses his nerve to call Ruby Sunday on New Year’s Eve, his tool box appears somewhat TARDIS-like.

Some more cut scenes can be found on the scripts just released from the BBC Writers website.

The script for The Robot Revolution has an extra scene where the Doctor briefly appears while Belinda Chandra is presented her horoscope from the Jathakam as a newborn after her Noolukettu, a naming ceremony.

Fans can enjoy perusing these cut scenes as they wait for the transmission of the Doctor Who spin-off, The War Between the Land and the Sea. The spin-off will begin transmission in the UK with two episodes on December 7 — and some time in 2026 for the rest of the world on Disney+.
