The BBC has locked down its Christmas schedules, and confirmed when we’ll be seeing Peter Capaldi’s final Doctor Who adventure.
It’d long been known of course that Twice Upon A Time would be going out on December 25th of course, as is traditional. But it’s now also been confirmed that the episode – that’ll run for 60 minutes – has been given a 5.30pm transmission slot. Thus, by 6.30pm on Christmas Day, Peter Capaldi will no longer be the incumbent Doctor, and Jodie Whittaker will have taken over the TARDIS.
Incidentally, we understand that press previews for the episode will have the regeneration sequence removed. That won’t be seen until Christmas Day…
