BritBox has revealed the titles coming this March, and film lovers have a lot to look forward to.

There’s also season 9 of Death in Paradise from 2020.

The 11th of March sees a varied selection, including Stacey Dooley Investigates, Hi-De-Hi, The Woman in White and The Naked Civil Servant. It’s the 17th when the bumper crop of movies appears. Among them are The Inbetweeners 2 (2014), Fever Pitch (1997), Lean on Pete (2017), Giro City (1982), I’m Not a Witch (2017) and Birthday Girl (2001).

Eye in the Sky

Taking a closer look at one of the other films arriving on the 17th, Eye in the Sky starring Helen Mirren has one of the last performances by the late Alan Rickman. It scored a huge 95% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 82% with the audience. Directed by Gavin Hood it’s a study of the ethics of drone warfare. A lieutenant general (Alan Rickman) and a colonel (Helen Mirren) face political opposition after ordering a drone missile strike to take out a group of suicide bombers in Nairobi, Kenya. It promises to be thought provoking.
