BBC Worldwide has announced the launch date for Doctor Who‘s Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

From Friday 3 October, Minecraft players will be able access to a range of Doctor Who assets, allowing them to change their avatar to resemble their favourite characters from the show.

The first pack – priced at £1.99 – will include a character inspired by the Twelfth Doctor as well as five other Doctors, each of their on-screen companions and some of the Doctor’s enemies, including the Daleks.

Season 8 continues this weekend on BBC One with ‘Kill the Moon’.
