Seemingly confirming what has been rumoured for some time, the final season of Game Of Thrones is one that we’re all going to have to wait longer than usual for.
Following the culmination of Game Of Thrones season 7, reports began spreading that HBO was going to take its time for the final episodes of the show, with Game Of Thrones season 8 not arriving on our screens until 2019.
Now, Sophie Turner – who plays Sansa Stark in the show – has all but confirmed that. She told Variety that “I’m really excited. Game Of Thrones comes out in 2019″.
This hasn’t been officially announced by HBO as of yet, but were we bookmakers, we’d have long since stopped taking bets on this. When we get a precise transmission date, we’ll let you know…
