Every new year, we make new fitness goals. We promise ourselves to do continuous work out keeping ourselves fit and healthy.

Being energetic and motivated, we tend to find a fitness specialist or join a Jim. But as the time goes on, our motivations become succumb, and we are all the same remaining a couch potato. It feels difficult to get off the couch and start working. So, today I have something interesting to share with all the readers out there. Why not the TV series that you love watching help you frame your mind towards discipline.

Here are some of the best TV shows that will inspire you to move out of your couch and get to working on yourself:

 

The Biggest Loser

It is one of the famous American reality shows launched on October 19. 2004 on NBC. The biggest loser TV show is all about an exciting game among overweight contestants who aim to win the prize by reducing their weight. The person who loses the highest percentage of his weight considering his beginning weight wins the game. Sounds interesting, right? This TV show is not the one that you would enjoy watching but will motivate you to work on yourself too. It drives you to build an aim and work on it. Every season starts by weighing the initial weight of the participants as it is the only medium that will be used to conclude the winner.

The participants form 3 teams where each team works with a particular trainer. The coaches are responsible for the entire workout of the competitors. They design comprehensive workout plans, create a proper diet chart, and implement on each contestant individually. While the contest goes on, candidates winning small challenges are awarded special privileges. To the end, the winner is announced as per the criteria of the game.

 

Man Vs. Wild

This is another famous must watch TV show. Man Vs. Wild is a part of survival TV series on Discovery Channel hosted by Bear Grylls. In each of the episodes, Grylls and his filmmaking team are left without any means to move here and there. The have to make efforts to endure and get back to their towns and cities. The complex role they have to overcome is spending overnight in danger.

The adventurer uses his military training techniques and his survival strategies to show his spirit of survival even in the absence of civilisation. He fights from all the harsh weathers be it a thunderstorm while he is on the raft in the middle of the sea or requiring to escape from the volcanos. He at times has to live eating raw insects and has no idea what’s coming up next. Making his way from just impossible situations, he is a great inspiration to all.

 

Intervention

It is an American documentary TV show on A&E launched on March 6, 2005. The participants in the show are either substance dependents or people with severe addiction. The period while an interventionist conducts the interventions, the participants are observed and captured while using drugs or any other abusive substance.

The producers interview the contestant’s family members or relatives during the period which is shown along with the show. The show shows a 90 day all expense treatment of these contestants at the rehabilitation. These contestants have a risk of losing their contacts, privileges or incomes from their family members and relatives.  The show is kind of interesting and motivating for people learning to get rid of stuff they are addicted to.

 

These shows aren’t just exciting to watch but have a real-life impact. They motivate us. In fact, we tend to energize ourselves looking at the people in these programs. So, make your TV series bring some motivation in life and help you start working hard.
