Brie Larson, who is incredibly hot right now thanks to her starring role in the MCU’s Captain Marvel movie, has signed up for another project: here’s everything we know about her upcoming Apple TV series.
TV Line reports that the series will be based on the upcoming memoir Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA, which was penned by Amyrillis Fox. This implies that there will be an element of ‘based on a true story’ going on here.
The show, which doesn’t have a title yet, has apparently been described as a “provocative and contemporary look at a young woman’s journey in the CIA, told through the prism of her closest relationships.”
Apple has ordered a full series along these lines, with Larson set to star. Prior to headlining Captain Marvel, the biggest flicks on Larson’s CV included Room, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and Kong: Skull Island. She’ll also appear, presumably to save the day, in Avengers: Infinity War later this year.
This isn’t the first time Apple has recruited a major star for an intriguing new show: they’ve also got Chris Evans, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Garner, Steve Carell and Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon working on projects.
As we hear more about Larson’s based-on-truth CIA drama, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with all of the important details.
