The Child’s Play series of horror movies is to make the jump to television, according to the franchise’ creator Don Mancini.
Mancini is working with producer David Kirschner on a series that would continue the films, with eight hour-long episodes currently being planned. The series will pick up on events seeded in the really rather god last movie, Cult Of Chucky (pictured).
Brad Dourif will be back to voice the role of Chucky, although it’s unclear as of yet if Jennifer Tilly will reprise her role from the films too. There’s no word yet on when to expect the series, although the wheels are clearly turning…
