Chris Pratt would be up for a Parks And Recreation revival, the actor has revealed. He might be a bit busy juggling the Jurassic World, Guardians Of The Galaxy and Avengers film franchises, but Pratt hasn’t ruled out returning to his role as Andy Dwyer in Parks And Recreation.
If a Parks And Recreation revival was ever happening, and the schedules could be made to work, Pratt wouldn’t hesitate to get involved.
“As long as I’m in town, yah, I’ll do it”, Pratt confirmed in an interview with E Online.
“It films like 10 minutes from my house so that would be dope”, he added. “I miss Andy too. I would love it. I know I would do it.”
As for where Andy would be now, Pratt had a suitably strange suggestion up his sleeve for the former shoe-shiner:
“I think [Andy] becomes a weatherman. He would be a good weatherman. He would have no idea what he’s even saying.”
As of yet, ABC has not announced any more episodes of Parks And Recreation, which ended its initial run in February 2015 after 125 episodes.
Speaking on Ellen last month, though, Amy Poehler admitted that everyone would be up for it:
“I’ll speak for everybody and say we would all do it. I think we’d all do it someday, it’d be amazing.”
Fingers remain crossed that a Parks And Recreation revival does eventually get announced. As soon as we hear anything, we’ll let you know.
