Heading to Channel 4 soon is Hang Ups, a new comedy from Stephen Mangan, that in turn is an adaptation of Lisa Kudrow’s Web Therapy. Mangan will take the lead role of Dr Richard Pitt, dispensing therapy via webcam to a variety of performers.
And the supporting cast roster is already looking really, really impressive.
David Tennant, for one, has been confirmed to appear, as have Jessica Hynes, Katherine Parkinson and Celia Imrie. And for fans of Game Of Thrones, look out for Charles Dance, Richard E. Grant, Harry Lloyd and Conleth Hill, amongst others.
Robert Delamere is co-writing, and six half-hour episodes are being made in all. They’re set for transmission in 2018.
