The BBC has revealed when we will be getting Death in Paradise series 10, and it’s good news! We don’t have a long wait at all

As we’ve been reporting on Cultbox, the BBC is putting a lot into the tenth anniversary of Death in Paradise, but the one thing we most wanted to know is when can we escape back to St Marie? For most series, the BBC has put the show in our screens early in January. What better way to escape the British winter, even if only in our minds for an hour, than spending time in the Caribbean? Well despite the expected delays in filming, we’ve a January start date and (remarkably) it’s January 7 2021! The show goes out at 9pm and it’s a Thursday (as we expected).

There have been many announcements for Death in Paradise series 10, including the (magical) return of Ben Miller, the return of DS Camille Bordey as well as a raft of guest stars. As well as the start date, the BBC also revealed a new guest yesterday: Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts).
