A crew filmed Doctor Who inside the former Howells department store on St Mary Street in Cardiff on 24 November with Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson and Jonah Hauer-King.
The setup began on 23 November with the crew preparing the location for filming.

Mannequins, or shop-window dummies, were seen inside the location. Doctor Who fans may remember the Autons, a plastic alien lifeform which took the form of mannequins from the 1970 story Spearhead from Space and the 2005 story Rose. Howells was used as the location of Henrik’s department store in Rose.
Though not photographed while filming, Ncuti Gatwa and Jonah Hauer-King stopped to pose for photos with fans. Millie Gibson was also spotted at the location.
