A Doctor Who film crew spent nearly all the daylight hours of Wednesday, May 22 filming in front of Gloucester Cathedral.
Several actors and extras were present as well as creature actors playing the terrifying galactic rhino-headed enforcers, the Judoon.

Several fans gathered to watch the filming. Even Paul Hollywood from The Great British Bake Off, seen next to a temporarily idle actor, came to watch the filming.

The extras were seen scattering at the sight of the Judoon marching into their midst.
The Judoon’s presence didn’t go unchallenged. An actress playing a woman named Marcia, briefly confronted them before her unfortunate character futilely ran away in terror.
Neil Stuke, the only actor besides Jodie Whittaker named in the BBC press release preceding the Gloucester filming, was present playing an unknown character.
