Tim Burton is remaking Dumbo as a live-action movie, following on from his previous reboot projects Alice In Wonderland and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. But while those movies are remembered more for their style than their substance, this time around, Burton is aiming directly for your heartstrings.
Today, we have the first Dumbo trailer to share, which has given us our best look yet at Burton’s adaptation of the classic Disney animation. Without further ado, here’s the Dumbo teaser trailer…
Doesn’t that look very promising? The CGI looks very strong, the tone appears less wacky than some of Burton’s other films, emotions seem to run high, and the cast is simply amazing. Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Roshan Seth, DeObia Oparei, Sharon Rooney, Nico Parker, Finley Hobbins and Douglas Reith are all slated to appear.
The Dumbo reboot has a UK release date of March 29th, 2019. Between now and then, there is bound to more trailers, images and news nuggets pertaining to the film. As we see all of that Dumbo news flying in, we’ll be sure to pass it all on to keep you informed.
For now, we’ll be clicking play again on that trailer and keeping our hopes high for a dazzling Disney remake.
